Many of these fond memories are ones that the families we work with every day have never experienced. Children too ashamed of where they lived, had never invited friends home to play, never had a quiet place to do homework. Parents had never lived in a place where they did not have to live with other families or make the hard choices between food, clothing and shelter each month. Families who had never dreamed of owning their own home….until now.

At CCHS, we know the importance of living in safe, quality, affordable and healthy homes…the value of a good education…the importance of building wealth through homeownership and taking pride in the community where you live. Through your support of CCHS we know that you value this too. Your support creates Hope and yields results.

In the past year, you have helped us:

• Create 17 homes for first-time homebuyers in Grandview and Mabton;
• Provide safe, affordable rental homes for more than 2,200 hard working low-income adults, children and seniors throughout the Diocese of Yakima;
  
• Help empower residents and families by promoting health, education and economic opportunities;
  
• Encourage first-time homebuyers to achieve their dreams by providing home ownership counseling and financial literacy classes.
  
• Harness the imaginations of 13 youth in Mabton
